Black Tie Ball (Special Events activity),
Wigan, Lancashire

October 24th 2009

We are pleased to inform you if you do not already know that booking forms are now available for the Special Events' Wigan Ball in October. Special Events is a sister group of ours in the north of England. We do encourage you to book early as this will be the biggest Christian Singles Ball in the UK this year with up to 140 people attending. It is being held in the glorious surroundings of the Grand Ballroom at Haigh Hall, a Grade II listed building set in 250 acres of parkland near Wigan in Lancashire. It is being aimed at Christian Singles in their 30s and 40s and the numbers of men and women will be roughly equal.

Tickets cost £38 per person and these cover the cost of a welcome drink and a buffet meal as well as disco/ceroc dancing later on. A Professional Photographer will be to hand should you wish to get a snap of you in your finery and there will be ample time for mingling and chilling out during the evening. A late bar will be in operation with the event finishing at 1am and various B&B's and hotels are available in the area for those wishing to stay overnight. Sunday morning activities will also be available such as a walk around Haigh Country Park followed by a Sunday Lunch at Haigh Hall for £13 if you pay for it in advance. The final date for bookings will be the 10th October.

QUIZ, DINNER & DISCO

Altrincham, Greater Manchester

Northern Lights is pleased to announce that we have 60 tickets available for a fun Singles based Quiz on Saturday November 28th 2009 at the Cresta Court Hotel in Altrincham. The cost of a ticket is £20.00 per person or £18 per person if booked before the 3rd October. This event is targeted primarily at Christian singles within their 30s and 40s and it will be Smart Casual. Our favourite DJ, Disco Dave, will be playing the dance tracks up until 1am to finish the night off.

The Cresta Court Hotel is given us a special rate of £49 per room for Double Occupancy. Enquire with them on 0161 927 7272 when you get your ticket and Room voucher (see Booking Form for details).

On Sunday, for those staying over, we will have optional Sunday Morning Services to attend and a communal lunch at the hotel to round off the weekend (see the booking form for details). Please note that tickets are on a first-come-first-served basis and we will be balancing the sexes. Do book early to avoid disappointment.
